A single trap can service more than one sink but adjacent drains cannot be farther apart than 30 inches. It is my intention to remove all the in wall copper pipe and replace it with abs and somewhere in my basement i ll switch from abs back to the original copper with. Drains that are in the floor are quite common. If your sink drain is located in the floor all that you need to do is reposition the p trap slightly. Sinks should be installed approximately 31 above the floor. The drain pipe fitting should be between 16 and 20 above the floor.
